Only a satellite connection in the apartment, but 2 TV one of which is connected via a Sky receiver with dual tuners. Thus actually 3 satellite connections required. I have by means of this 2-way Video splitter led the cable to the 2 TV's and then again the signal split by a second distributor for the 2 tuners the Sky receiver.
Result: I can look at two TV's parallel TV and / or take over the Sky receiver and watch another program.
Reception quality: The quality does not suffer appreciably under the in one case even double division of the signal. No significant degradation of the signal or the image quality (SKY HD and HD +).
Limitations: The programs must be at the very same frequency band! The TV that sends a signal from the first LNB to the satellite dish, sets in my case, which frequency band is transmitted. The other TV / receiver will receive all programs that are on the same tape. To receive all the programs on two TV's, a Twin LNB would be required. For my case, it is the best solution.
