Please do not confuse, because all Amazon photos as well as the actually delivered package can at first suggest that this is actually converter is a "digital to analog". I was this anyway very insecure before, I am but the risk of an order nevertheless received since the product description on this site is really unique here. Even after delivery unsettled a first look at the unpacked product first of all, because both the RCA and the TOS-Link and coaxial jacks carry all the name "AUDIO OUTPUT", which of course can not be. But after plugging in the power adapter and the red lighting of the TOS-Link socket of course, was immediately clear: "the right direction" ...
It was probably the Chinese manufacturer (or the German distributors) (D / A versions ie A / D and) produce different housing duly adopted captions to a lot of work, for both products. Even the included description is the same for both versions, to save money. Solely the main logo on the product top states in my case clearly "A> D Analog.to Digital Audio Converter", which ultimately also technically correct.
Anyway, I'm not disappointed, because the sound quality according to the A / D conversion is not even as bad as initially feared by me, even very adequate for this price and the chosen of my application. However, there is for all the confusion with the wrong labels and photos a full point deduction, and, ultimately, that the overall layout and the color of the product (at least in my case, white instead of black) is completely different than what is shown - apart from the packaging, which corresponds to the supply (but the sense here also the words "Digital to Analog Converter" which in turn bears is quite wrong). Anyway, but this is ultimately all just purely visual to see and at least does not contradict the otherwise quite ordinary A / D function.
From my perspective, the converter is therefore recommended so. Let's see how long he persevere in operation ...
