Q & A is one of the best novels I read so far: thrilling, emotional, heart-touching (though at no point trashy) and, overall, even though entertaining it tells a story That is beyond ones imagination; or at least beyond Western readers imagination. The novel leads the reader straight and without prior warnings into the hardships of a life slumdogs and exposes him to a struggle for survival in Which the protagonist ends up in a number of situations Actually appearing hopeless. But, surprisingly, he never loose his ambitions to improve his situation and this, then, is what Precisely deterministic mines the strength and uniqueness of this novel. A must-read, to be strongly recommended by all means. Much has already been posted about similarities between novel and movie (Slumdog Millionaire). A final remark on that: That novel and movie are Actually Characterized by differences rather than by what theyhave in common might be guessed if one keeps in mind thatthey have different titles. I watched the movie first, then Decided to read the novel. No matter in Which order you do it, to enjoy Ensure Both as What They are: different versions that, to cut it short, are to be Considered as individual pieces of art sharing the same basic idea only.
