Story:
Although the invading Reapers is still there, but is "disturbed" by the controversial firm Cerberus.
In my opinion, experienced Mass Effect 2 with this part of a slight lull.
Shepard's old crew is gone and he has to reluctantly join with Cerberus to continue to prepare against the Reaper, by bringing together the best of the best from all over the galaxy that his new crew is then.
The stranger, Director of Cerberus appears to want to maintain the appearance of wanting to also fight against the Reapers and their henchmen, the collectors, and for the people.
I think the story is not just here exhilarating and feels so at:
One can find several new people that you receive in his new crew and must win their loyalty in which one helps them, and executes orders.
More will not be revealed. :)
Gameplay:
Concluded Score from Part 1 can be adopted, which can have an impact on Part 2.
I think that's great and it is then be eigenere Shepard, with which you can play the sequel.
Compared with the first part here has some greatly changed.
Stand in ME1 more the RPG aspect in the foreground, as was so well liked by the fans, so the many dialogues and discussions advances that serves everything into the background and you get more action and shooter.
Much resembling very: search or find XY area in XX and make defeat en route to the target, the YY.
Basically, you shoot only through the area.
Except for one or two missions all others feel very same thing I felt very dull and monotonous and let me sample the ambiance of part 1 missing much ... which I confirmed that Part 2 is the weakest of all three parts.
Were also changing the charging times: Were the short charging times in the first part yet creative laminated with lift rides, where you heard the latest news or a talk between the team members, only so-called computer analysis screens of any building or space ships can be seen in the second part, the longer Load as you are used to.
Too much designed for shooters, I think what probably was also because that Bioware has been completely taken over by EA ...
Graphics:
The graphic has been improved, which is most apparent on Shepard when one takes him out of part 1.
It affects all voices, but I feel somehow lost the cinematic aspect. Why do I not know, probably because of the light in the game.
Figures are still a piece of "realistic" and my male Shepard even has pores! In the women's still looks like plastic from ...;)
Unfortunately, the game has more stuttering and Nachlader than Part 1, which interferes with the illusion of an interactive Fim.
Sound:
Maybe it was just me, but for me, the sound heard always slightly metallic, although I had my TV set correctly.
Noises and other sound sample are as in Part 1 of very good quality.
Too bad I find it that some speakers were replaced with new ones. Particularly badly I took it (among other things, for Liara) in the male Shepard, while the female was allowed to keep the same voice.
For incomprehensible me, but maybe better in retrospect, Shepard sounds partly still bored.
Conclusion:
A mediocre sequel to the first part, in my opinion, can not anküpfen to the great predecessors:
Weak story, too many similar missions to light roleplaying elements and teiweise other speakers change the game experience (for me) considerably.
Whether you have to play ME2 forcing each is left to itself.
For Part 3 you can take the score from Part 2 again, if you want to have a certain continuity.
