Nokia 500

Have only been waiting with my review a few weeks to test the phone properly and am surprised by the previous reviews a bit. If I had read this before you buy, I would have decided otherwise safe. That would have been a shame because after the Nokia 5210, 6300, 2710 and C5-01 this is my first touchscreen phone, with which I after the great disappointment of the C5-01, am now again completely satisfied.

Plus points:
- Small + light
- Very good free processing and precision fit
- Absolutely logical operation
- All can be set individually
- Enduring battery
- Excellent voice quality (I use the phone as a landline phone)
- SMS dialog display
- Good speakers
- Excellent, absolutely free Navi + free maps worldwide
- Very good value for money

Bad points:
-Kartendownload Worked only on PC (with Ovi Suite)
Compass only works when the GPS has located the site
-benutzt to the QWERTY keyboard in portrait mode, the buttons on the right of the screen often do not respond to

Two more observations to the previous review:
As the key lock when in-the-pocket-push to solve, is to me sometimes explain a. The display responds only (!) On contact with the fingers and the lock will be released by pressing a button and then touching the display. One would therefore only accidentally push the button on the side and then come directly point the finger at a defined point of the display!
And as for the "imprecise" KEYBOARD: The keyboard is very precise, you miscalculated only often, because the fingers are too fat for far too narrow in the vertical keyboard. In landscape mode, the misses quite outstanding. I myself have with God no sausage fingers, the keyboard but still set that it switches to the portrait mode on the virtual phone keypad that is more pleasant and not forgotten how to T9 typing :-)

PS: I've still the silicone Case bought from Mumbi it. Now is the 500 same slip-proof in hand as at the time the blissful 5210 and is shock resistant at the same time.
