Stumbled by chance on rave reviews to the old 5D, stumbled by chance on a very cheap deal for half "accidentally" pressed the "Buy" button .... The camera came and I was a bit on Handling / Operation pissed, also is a full-frame pretty clunky, what great find many users - I do not. I can, at the same time said, do not understand the photographers who also provided their cameras with battery grips, the batteries last forever and yet a second battery you can easily carry it along. But, as I said - a matter of taste. Then the first pictures on the computer (RAW) - Wow - what's that? These colors, this plasticity in connection with the Canon EF 50 1.4 - outdoors, the sharp (but pleasant - somehow "soft-sharp") skin-textures for portraits - and even at Christmas tree lighting and candlelight - almost no noise! I had only APS-C cameras that make when photographing a lot more fun, more agile and more manageable are - but the results of this "old" camera far exceeded my expectations, suddenly you want only these images from the EOS 5D dinosaur. The photos have an aesthetic. It is not just the focus, even contrasts, color, white balance - you have Lightroom do nothing (except one wants to bend), "agree" the photos as they exit from the camera so. Just got a stage show with, for tyisch, low light (Stage spotlight moods) by a large margin from the rank down photographed (by the part, however, is already ...). The pictures, the more inexpensive EF 70-300 IS, are suddenly convincing even at maximum aperture. At 1000 ISO, almost no noise and I could with short exposure times arbeiten.Von 300 images were only 2 (technical) Schrott.Ich see tack-sharp details (fabric textures of the costumes) - and one thinks in the image to be able to reach into it. So bottom line: access to various parameters often annoying-awkward, clunky, noisy, slow (but not bad), antiquated - but the results are definitely worth it. In this price as "second" camera (will anyway soon to the first), a super-bargain! I'm happy about my spontaneous purchase.
