have appended to this cable or a USB hub (D-Link 8-fold) firstonce passively, without power adapter. only to look at whether there are dropouts => this I had to have that allegedly built with my old cable an integrated passive amplifier.

This cable works here absolutely perfectly on the 5m. Three receiver I could plug in the USB Hub - 1x keyboard, 1x mouse 1x Bluetooth. That alone was enough for me. Other devices such as the Logitech Webcam and USB HDD I later operated with power on the USB hub.

Cable is very good. Without hesitation to recommend.
