The history books on the "French war" in Indochina are plethora, in contrast to that of Algeria. Little treated topic, perhaps because of the period (1945-1954) immediately succeeding the Second World War, where other concerns were holding the attention of French. Perhaps due to the remoteness of countries such as Vietnam and Cambodia, completely unknown to our compatriots at that time. This "little" book sums up, in great detail, the rise of the Viet Minh and all the absurdities and atrocities that were committed on one side or the other, in a turbulent global context. Recommend to have a good knowledge of this period in Indochina.
