I have first "install SSD" me on YouTube by keyword input watched some helpful and less helpful videos for installing SSDs. The key finding: SSDs build nowadays already 12 year old one (I myself am almost 50 and I felt when watching the videos damn old). Ultimately, I am the approximately 20-minute guidance of a user named CoHOverlord followed (the Saxon very entertaining sounded in my ears). But the Installation Guide on crucial.com/support/ssd was also very helpful.
For installation / configuration I needed about 2 hours (one hour ahead of the 7-pin for shopping SATA connector cable, which is not included). After everything was done, I had a look in the Control Panel, where, among other things, the performance of the computer can be accessed, the index value. The Windows Experience Index was had before the conversion to 5.9 (which I had quoted me). After the renovation, I was shown 6.4 (the scale is 1 - 7.9bn). I signaled that as a layman, that I have received through the incorporation of a circa 10-percent increase in performance SSD. Or do I interpret that wrong? I am happy to let me teach my comment from third parties a lesson.
Anyway, it is now so that my computer has become really noticeably faster. He is after switching ruckzuck above and selected programs, whether perfectly ordinary Word or a graphics program called GIMP for example (the previously almost a minute invited to applicability), now also load much faster. System crashes were fortunately also.
As I said, I'm only 08/15-user and IT Amateur. For the experts here my little review will certainly not be helpful. Maybe they use is but one who has not yet even married to the installation of an SSD. I am happy and because I have no comparisons to SSDs of other manufacturers I forgive four "Likes" -star for this kind of media from Crucial.
