Super slim and super small

So, before first: I am not a technology specialist, so I can not make any technical information, and this is my first external hard drive, so I've no means of comparison. Nevertheless, I'll try to play my impression as well as possible.
I had quite simply bought the hard drive to save internal memory, thus located on this disk documents, photos and films.

1. The appearance
About the look I was first surprised. I do not know why, but I had imagined a slightly heavier Klotz and instead I got this very light and slim device. ^^ So that was in itself very positive. The color is a matte black and on the floor there are 4 rubber nubs, so the hard disk does not lie directly on the surface, which I find also very good. A white LED light indicates that it is connected and flashes when it is operating. If I was picky, I would criticize the fact that the light is so bright as the flash / the Taschenlampfunktion a smartphone and that the USB cable is too short, but for me these are such trifles that I help it depart no star (I have do not look into the light and I "extension cord" for just in case).

2. The hard drive itself
I read with hard drives often that they are "noisy" were, even with this I read this. Honestly would be interested to know what people mean by "noisy"; a Dolby surround sound system or the chirping of a cricket or an ant that runs across the floor? What I mean to say: This hard drive is completely silent or I'm quite deaf, which I really do not go out now. You also will not vibrate and even if you have not it hang, unless they vibrate so much that it is noisy, but I highly doubt it. Well.
On the transmission rate, I can say that it works pretty fast. Small files transfers them immediately (eg., 10 full-size images). Larger numbers of files (say 500 images at once) it transmits in a few seconds. For two films z. B. (approximately 16 GB, depending on the films) do not even need a minute. The experts among us are probably thinking, "Woah is that slow!", But for me that was very fast ^^.

Since I, as I said, not an expert am, I do not know what else to write except that I find really great and they would buy again at any time. I wanted to buy only one of Western Digital for 62 had me but then changed her mind and spontaneously taken the plunge into the cold water and low and behold, it was worth it in any case!
