Already the first test shots and then the trip to Lübeck have my high expectations completely. The sharpness is very good even at full aperture (4). Together with the Canon 7D sits autofocus accurately. The AF and image stabilization work in virtual silence.
The weight is 885g with relatively high (the original Canon has only 667g), the filter diameter with 82mm also (Canon 77mm). But that is not enough for a star-deduction.
Although the series "A" stands for "type", but for me now 'excellent' for. I highly recommend this lens highly.
