Certainly better than any DIY product. Must be readjusted somewhat (aluminum warps fast during welding). Looks very robust, shows even with continuous exposure to basket and satchel no weaknesses (approved up to 25 kg). The black finish is not anodized, but much better than in my high-priced vehicles that are partly. Can scrape with a fingernail. Very varied by adjusting the height and the stable mounting bracket. The clamping bracket is very stable and strong, is possibly somewhat short. Even tension rubber grommets and mounting nipple for a short standard air pump are available. Negative but usual: the (too few) mounting screws are made of stainless steel but not better exchange only galvanized against V2A-screws! For those looking for no carrier for the big trip, definitely recommendable!
