>>> INFO: Please take a look at my clients pictures after they have read my review. Then they will quickly see what I mean and what is the big problem of FAMEX nuts!
>>> EDIT: I am years of customer at Amazon, and give each year 20 Betsellungen on, but now I'm really angry. Apparently it has the company FAMEX not like that I have uploaded images was where quite clearly see how the alloy wheels from being scratched because the nuts are just so super thick !!! Is that your opinion, freedom of expression?!? This is a bottomless impudence! Mainly the profit is right, since you can "aufschönen" also products with clear deficits by simply deleting unwanted images! THANK Amazon, a complaint to the customer service will follow. And thanks for the negative reviews of users who do not like the truth. If I firmly pull the screws by hand and not with the impact driver, then I need no nuts with plastic sheathing. I would not write so yes about the product, if I had not tested it myself. I would have rather given 5 stars, but the reality is sometimes different.
I have bought it in combination with a new impact wrench, even though I have all the necessary nuts also at home. This I übrigends wrapped with duct tape, which is excluded from the emergence of scratches.
Well, first I wanted to test the nuts on my expensive rims where they fit but (fortunately !!!) NOT. So now I'm gone to my new winter-alloy wheels, where I noticed that the nuts through the thick protective plastic just barely could fit. Even at my father and my girlfriend car that was the case, it's pretty darn close with the nuts (if they fit at all).
Well first screw is loosened with the impact wrench and lo and behold, my (NEW!) Wheels has been completely scratched. The problem is that the nuts are so thick that they even at the slightest touch of dirt (which one aluminum wheels just never gets completely out of the holes) this information about this and thus scratch the rim immediately. If one uses a torque wrench, it will not be so many scratches, but by the narrowness they will certainly still come.
In addition, the nuts have a lot of game, which the heads of the bolts / screws are turning around with time. Also I have a picture posted.
My old nuts have wrapped with duct tape übrigends caused by Drehmomentschlüsseö and impact wrenches no scratches! Reason: A Normal nut is quite 3-4mm thinner than the FAMEX nuts.
CONCLUSION:
Pro:
- Look great
- Are not broken in the first use
Cons:
- Have scratched when you first configure my aluminum wheels !!!
- Adjust only for rims with large holes for the screws. (Nuts about 3-4mm thicker than normal!)
- Have great game -> Turn the screw heads around.
Neutral:
- After the first use, of course, no longer look beautiful, because the plastic is directly black and colored chrome plating is scratched at each contact with the ground.
Please rate my review rather than "not helpful", apparently just because many of them are enthusiastic about these nuts. But I should have saved myself the money better, then my wheels would now still intact.
Like look to meune customer images because the problem is clearly much!
