Exposure: Since this issue has not been mentioned, I am not sure if this is an error only "my" camera. The camera tends in low light conditions to overexposure. By using the scene programs without further exposure, it may be overexposed. So the camera selects at Indoors in "Party Mode," for example f = 3.1 320 ISO and 1 / 25s during my Nikon P300 f = 2.8 200 adjusts ISO and 1 / 30s. The image of the S6400 is overexposed and subtle contrasts are outshone.
Charging: charge the battery inside the camera, Nikon typical - but not beautiful
Speed: time to first image is akzepatbel, Speichergeschindikeit is a few seconds clearly too long (Class10 SDHC).
CONCLUSION: I have the camera returned because I had too much exposure problems. I wanted a camera with snapshot-quality on the go. The prerequisite is that I can rely on automatic programs and hereby achieved a reasonable image quality. That's a pity, because the camera would have gotten otherwise clearly 4 star and a buy recommendation. Whether this is just an "outlier", I can not judge.
