And the X100T is the same renewed pleasure: a minimalist unit but very well thought out and effective. First, because we can always keep the self: I like the equivalent focal length 35 mm and this device is all the time in my work bag. Train, plane, boat, car never prevented me to freeze a memory: a beautiful look and an interesting landscape. No CaNikon (any brand will be replaced by reflex enclosure) had allowed me. Of course there are also smartphones, but none has such a large sensor that will map darrière blurred beautiful as night shots successful show of hands!
For someone who did not yet X100 housing. the choice is easy. Only Ricoh GR series and in my opinion can compete with the simplicity of Fuji X100T, especially in the "street photography" that is to be discreet and silent. I'm not a fan of Sony boxes, jewelry technological pretty but not enough "photographers" I believe in their rendering and their interface. Ricoh has managed a very good product, but Fujifilm has the advantage of a consistent range with as light housings with interchangeable lenses that will keep the same output as the X100, including the RAW format.
For the owner of a X100S which threw, I still made the leap to the X100T for the many improvements made since early 2013: Finally a unified interface (I also Fuji X-T1 and it is a pleasure to move from one box to another), a large rear screen that allows me to make a better first choice prior review on a large screen, and then further improved responsiveness even if it wasnt more a problem with previous housings grace significant improvements of the firmware.
It remains the choice of color: before the finish retro / money was so flattering and attracted the sympathy of passers-by, but I find the black more discreet and efficient. And fortunately there are no red dot to attract trouble ;-)
