1) The calipers system remains the most convenient and the most reliable, and tightening the wheel is not so difficult. Certainly, it has a classic look, but I have not found the most modern ergonomic casseroles.
2) Cooking is made faster for meats and vegetables and can afford to buy less noble pieces and therefore less expensive: they will always be more tender in 20 minutes after two hours of non-stop cooking (hello energy bill).
Finally, the pressure cooker is compatible with induction hobs, which was essential for me.
Now issue price, there is no photo, but even if FAGOR still much cheaper than some French brand, some defects of this model are worth noting:
A few months after my purchase, I had the same problem qu'Ameline (see commentary); the threads of one of the handles being poorly designed, it will eventually break after cooking! I was fine to write SAV Fagor to exchange the handle found in trade, to no avail since the SAV Fagor never responded to my requests (I had the same problem with their vacuum cleaners ).
In addition, telltale sign that should have tempered my joy of discovering the pressure cooker, the cap of the handle has continued to fall, so I finally put it away in a drawer. Pending buy a pressure cooker better finished and more reliable, today I find myself to cook with a wobbly camera and potentially dangerous.
Moral of the story: Whenever the pressure cooker is magical and indispensable as buying one from another brand ...
