The LED Lenser A3 has a real high brightness compared to other small flashlights that you know so. It lights easily over approx 30m. The light beam is focused, a focusing or defocusing as we know it from the large LED Lensern there is not. The tower with the light reflector has not yet solved with me until now.

Conclusion: Anyone looking for a small, powerful flashlight for the keychain is well served by the LED Lenser A3.
