I want you / you describe my experiences with the 2in1 Bluetooth Speaker M2 BK of Real Power.
Effect the first Aha! I had just unpacked.
The cylindrical Bluetooth speaker comes in a likewise circular packaging
Although I had really already many speakers of this kind in your hand and have tested their paces really surprised me this. With the fluted aluminum surface, the rich weight and the metal grid on the speaker cone of M2 has an immediate high quality.
Supplied are additionally still a white 3.5mm jack cable with 80cm length and a black mini USB charging cable length of 40cm.
Why this here but now obsolete connection has been selected and no micro-USB port, I do not understand completely.
For me a clear disadvantage.
This is unfortunately also true for the Quick Start Guide, which is available only in English and yet has generated some question marks with me.
So is there written by Skip buttons that do not exist. The mode change is achieved, for example, only by a long pressing the play button. So you just go in the radio mode. How to automatically search for stations there and that you should connect the mini-USB cable in order to have better reception is not explained.
The second function of the "2in1", namely the absolutely important and great function, the speaker is to be used as a Bluetooth receiver completely concealed. This may explain why this is not mentioned in the other reviews here ..
First, however, again to the basics:
The M2 weighs 207 grams, is 5.2 cm high and just over 6 cm in diameter.
At the bottom you will find the combined high / low volume and skipping / Skip + button and the button for play / pause, and the on-switch for SD / Radio mode selection, power-off and the Bluetooth mode. In addition, the small power LED and a micro-SD slot are still placed.
Then follow the 3.5mm Klinkenaus- and input and the aforementioned mini-USB charging port.
The pair with the smartphone / tablet after power is simple.
Will enable easy Bluetooth on the smartphone or tablet, then recognized a "slang-M2", with which one then makes a BT-coupling.
This is just like the startup process and all mode changes acknowledged by a voice in English what bothers me very much, especially as it can not issue.
After the first successful coupling these remains stored and is automatically produced at the next start.
NFC support the Lautsrpecher not what I think is a pity.
The volume keys are (unfortunately) at the same time for skipping through the songs.
By pressing shortly, the unit skippt forward or backward.
The volume must be changed by pressing and sliding.
Unfortunately, there are many devices which always require a button for a step or give annoying Quittierungstöne of what is fortunately not the case here
Nevertheless, I prefer clearly separate Skip and Volume buttons to avoid operating errors and to expose more sound control.
The specified range of 10 meters, I did not quite reach.
With more than 8 meters, I am very satisfied considering the size.
Even a massive wall did not lead to disconnects in an adjoining room, if you are not more than 5-6 meters.
The Bluetooth Sound is excellent, given the small size.
Instruments come across crisp and clean, the vocals are also accentuated very clean.
Even a bass despite the small volume palpable.
About aptX of M2 does not have, unfortunately, to the last bit of squeeze more from the Bluetooth interface sound quality.
Even better, it went over the microSD slot and the 3.5mm jack input.
If you play from there uncompressed music, the sound quality is enhanced even further.
Already amazing what can come out of such small boxes nowadays.
The radio is available only with an attached mini-USB cable, otherwise the sender if ever reproduced only with strong noise. I really look at this function only as a nice addition and no longer.
The phone speakerphones, however, is a useful feature, because you have to have the smartphone is not always right beside you so.
For calls the Speaker will change itself into this mode after the call it will automatically return to the music mode.
Both my interlocutors could understand me properly and I the other side. The speakerphone is not just a gimmick but actually usable,
Where, however, the micro is I did not get out until today. This should be supplemented in the instructions.
For me, a major argument in favor of this speaker is, as already mentioned, the Bluetooth receiver function, because it has an audio-out on 3.5 mm jack output. This is very unusual in this class of equipment.
I use the M2 accordingly to my JBL Peebles wireless "feed" to be able.
This works absolutely great, I'm more than impressed!
The USB port of the M2 can also be used as an external sound card and even a micro-SD card reader on a PC. Thus, for example headsets are connected to the two 3.5mm jacks to chat.
All required drivers are automatically installed by Windows 7 with me.
The loading of the speaker took me almost 1.5 hours and so half an hour longer than specified in the manual.
With the full charge I could hear good music 5.5 hours to at normal volume quieter. This corresponds to the manufacturer's instructions.
My conclusion for this Bluetooth speaker falls almost 100% positive and I like to give the full 5 stars.
It has great features, is super processed and has an excellent sound.
He is also available as an external soundcard and a very good Bluetooth receiver for the home system.
Should improve the manufacturer in any case the instructions. Even the built-in mini-USB port is no longer appropriate and prevents the benefit of the numerous micro-USB chargers that you have lying around at home today.
I hope this review could assist you in your buying decision ...
