- Try & Decide
- File Shredder
- Boot Sequence Manager
- Acronis Extended Capacity Manager
- Trim SSD
- Backup Converting tib format to .vhd, and back.
- Disk Editor
- Import and export backup settings
- Mail Backup
- You can not have two folders more synchronize to a local sync (or I have not yet found the function).
-To View logs is necessary to use email notification, or on the hard disk "C: \ Program Data \ Acronis \ True Image Home \ Logs" search the logs.
- No dynamic filenames longer possible as @ date @ etc
- Deleting chain versions or individual backup objects. It can only be the backup plan deleted with all backups.
- Version overviews (incremental, differential or full backup). It appears a date just yet.
- .tib Files can be over UNC paths no longer open in Windows Explorer
- Action feedback is entirely absent. There is only an hourglass.
Read correctly, these functions were simply deleted entirely! They no longer exist in the 2015er Version
The options are listed, but no longer accessible via the main program but only indirectly:
- Manage Acronis Secure Zone
- Acronis Startup Recovery Manager
- Drive Cleanser
- System cleanup
Such a massive reduction in functionality in a full version, I've never seen. Here you can only vote with their wallets and not buy the product. Because it restricts the range of functions so massive, you have to pay the same price, too still.
To top it all even the crown, may be because so many functions were taken away, a new pay and equal:
Parallels Access is firmly established as a point in the tool menu of the main menu and prompt you to purchase. What shoud that?
I find it brazenly how much Acronis says to its customers milking.
Unfortunately, there's little alternative especially in the field DiskImage backup.
Nevertheless, I now stay at the first 2014er version and watch around for what new things.
Updated on 19-9-14:
a part of me originally missing features is no longer directly accessible in the main program but only indirectly. I've updated accordingly.
