When I ordered this bag with the camera, which was more to look at her and probably return.
But I have now rd. 2 weeks and will keep you, am 100% convinced -ig it.
I have several other pockets of Delsey, AmazonBasics and Canon. It's always a bit awkward herausuholen even in the best case with magnetic locks the camera and you already missed motives of convenience. This bag not unlock pushbutton, turning off and on camera: It is within max. 3 seconds ready to fire. It has been my experience that when traveling by bus or train (also underground) happy and hassle grab the camera, even when getting in or out. In a classical carrying case the threshold and the fumbling is much higher.
The bag has a small cutout on the side, so that one comes ran to the socket for charging without any fuss.
To change the card or battery, you have to contrast the bag completely and take off, so loosen the lower screw for tripod's with a couple of turns, what actually takes a few seconds.
The protective properties are excellent, the clad material really thick and with a kind of suede interior.
The camera is fully protected from the weather (the 2 small lateral recesses are irrelevant).
Of course it is completely protected from scratches and likely even minor accidents and falls through.
Without cover just fits the RX100 II in a jeans pocket. Not with the shell more. As a pocket or coat pocket must be found, or you wear around your neck or on the shoulder, even diagonally, which is no problem in the belt length.
I find it more practical than a classic bag that you wear the belt or attached to a belt.
That no Erstzkarten or battery pack fits in I do not find important: With a 32 GB card you do not need replacement and also the battery lasts really for the whole day. For a longer trip or celebration, you can wear the little spare battery with 1240 mAh in your pocket.
The list price is actually quite high. However, I have bought the bag 10 euros cheaper at the dealer along with the camera and thus I find the price given the top quality and processing than justified!
Finally, the RX100 II is not a cheap pocket from discounters and a misfortune has happened quickly. That can be a jostle on the train at rush hour, a glass of cola or a cup of coffee, stumble at a mountain hike ... You can read the stupidest stories on the web of cameras, which are then offered for 1 Euro to be defective. The fit is so precise that I'm pretty SICHR that the camera would even survive a Stürz in a mountain stream, if one gets them out again quickly and dries.
Therefore I find the 60 euro well spent and properly 5 stars.
