I wear them for more than 20 years, especially in the winter, or just when it rains throughout the year two or more hours a day for feeding and crap our horses, or perform any work "around it" or in the garden, such as trimming hedges, pasture maintenance or fence. If you like the way I work in two pairs of wearing shoes or socks thick socks, you should order one size larger. Then they sit just right at the foot without constricting or to have too much air in the instep. I myself as a woman rather a slender foot and am still with this Mr. boots in fit very satisfied (there are the same boots in blue as women's boots - but I have never had and therefore can not say anything there to fit - as they as women's boots but cost about 10 more, I've once again the men's boots ordered ;-)).
By lining them suitable even in winter when normal winter temperatures down to -10 or -15 degrees Celsius, then it gets cold at some point. As it happens not always clean the crap, I wear the pants in principle in the boots. For a woman, I have rather a vigorous calf. Nevertheless, I do not feel restricted - neither through the shaft still the top hem - despite two pairs of socks and leg it. Everything fits.
The sole gives good grip and with the described use and not slippery. In snow or icy grip can however slightly - here it gets a little slippery due to the material then, but is still good.
In regular use, as described these boots have always kept in my section so around 10 years. The sole has never been solved, only sometime occurs in the crease area between toes and metatarsal laterally then small hairline cracks and the water resistance is gone. Cheap models from the discounters have earlier but not even survived with me compared here one year. 10 years I think there already really good!
Compared to normal rubber boots you sweat very little in these boots - if they are still even wet inside (me only happened once during floods, as my water went up in ...), they need because of the feed inside a little longer to dry.
The only real drawback is that the sole does not have penetration protection. If thorns or nails so you should watch. But then the weight would indeed increase - so they are comfortable slight foot.
Conclusion: I can only recommend - clear five out of five!
