Why I bought the box not sooner ?! This question I have asked myself immediately after the initial setup. Despite different opinions and forum entries I have yet gained me the Box: The wireless speed of Telekom Speedport W701V is just not so great. In 7270, things look quite different: 300MBit / s. Since then makes surfing and watching videos via WLAN fun without "jerking motion". Who needs the high power, should keep away from the Eco mode that adjusts the transmit power when needed. The connection proved using the supplied Y-cable for DSL and ISDN connection without problems since I use both a splitter and an NT. The box has an internal ISDN S0 port, which is even suitable for installation. I also have a little playing around with the built-in DECT module, then had but still a Siemens Sx255 reactivate PBX and connecting to the internal S0 port. Lo and behold, no problem: The phone system is running without snags. It is even possible to map VoIP accounts to an MSN for the telephone system, which then has to naturally react to the MSN. Thus Siemens Sx255 is then also VoIP-capable with the standard DECT handsets. In addition, the Box features with latest firmware even a clear, but for me quite completely sufficient answering machine with remote access, mail forwarding and message on the handsets. So it looks receiving the fax. Received faxes can easily be forwarded via e-mail. With the latest firmware also the media server qualities are said to have improved tremendously. But this I can not comment. The same relates to the functionality as a Time Machine backup media for all Mac fans. From my perspective, there's only a small point deduction, because there DSL modem something is "sensitive". Disconnections I have not experienced since the error correction can be a great job.
