The used material is neoprene used. This smells like neoprene just smells. I think not at all disturbing. Have the belt for several months now in use, sweat actually not a little, but the belt is not müffelt of sweat, but always after the neoprene material. I personally find a lot more pleasant than human scents.
Otherwise, everything has already been said. The holes on the bottom to match with the earphone jack of the iPhone 5, the processing is top, the strap is snug enough, does not go on, is adjustable in size. By underside also penetrates no condensation, neoprene goodness! Unfortunately I have no experience with it, how does that relate in heavy rain. However, I trust the product to the point where the touch-permeable plastic top holding as tight as the rest.
