The commissioning of the equipment was seamless. Without manual it took from unpacking on how to connect all components (WLAN Stick, HDMI cable, PDIF, coaxial cable) and configuration to the first frame about 1.5h. In principle, everything works. Unfortunately, such devices have nowadays always a few quirks function.
Three problems I already could tell. The electronic program guide shows immediately all channels completely. In eineigen channels will not appear until slightly when switching by clicking on them.
In HUMAX TV Portal you will find a Tagesschau app. The first time you try this has crashed and the displayed image is frozen. These could no longer disconnecting by key operation. Only a power-on brought the device back to an operable state.
The wireless connection to my wireless router is not stable. After a loss of connection to the connection by clicking the "Connect" button must manually start the Configuration menu again. The unit does not attempt to automatically reconnect. If you want to establish a wireless connection during recording, this has not worked.
These are probably still a few kids' diseases in the software. Perhaps this will be fixed in one of the next software updates. Software updates can be not carry over WLAN. For this, the device must be connected via a LAN cable to the router. After a successful online Software Update version 1:00:24 is now installed on my device.
The image quality is excellent! The start-up from standby takes about 40 sec. The switching time between two programs located at about 2 sec.
The supplied remote control can be programmed for all televisions. Unfortunately, you have to switch to "TV" for the volume on the TV remote control, the remote control. This is a bit annoying, because you frequently between "PVR" - must switch and "TV" mode the remote control.
