It is processed very valuable in any case, because everything fits and nothing creaks. I personally have chosen this device because the screen size of 5 inches, the dual SIM functionality, the SD memory ability and the front seated stereo speakers. The price-performance ratio also played a role.
The almost pure Android 4.4.4 with currently is highlighted by many to be very good, but I miss but that one way or another. So could be spiced up a bit but the info bar, eg with colored field strength display the SIMs and the famous little activity arrows at WLAN and the percentage the battery. Even with the "Quick Settings" I would like to quickly change something and not just come to the settings menu when you press the keys again. Unfortunately, this is well implemented only when flight mode and brightness. Also, I find part of a file manager, a notebook function and a way DLNA and WiFi Direct to use also!
When the display are different batches that have either a good white balance with better brightness, but that does not own or but it seem a little yellowish and act minimally blurred halos around the edge. I had both, so looking what I'm talking ... Overall, the display could be brighter, the Auto Brightness is definitely not usable because too dark calibrated. The color reproduction is good and pixel errors are not noticed.
The battery performance is good when you park the Motorola Assist and some background processes of Google. Unfortunately it is not possible through this meaningful in itself Assist, when you need to send the phone, for example at night in airplane mode to save battery. This saves not insignificant power, so I'm on about 2 days.
The biggest problem has this device but with the memory / RAM management. I can not say whether the device or Android 4.4.4 is originally responsible for but. In any case it can be seen from above in the product description still courted "excellent multitasking behavior" NOTHING. From my perspective, is that not even the skimpy 1GB RAM, because this is maxed out in any way, usually is my workload at 450-550MB as are already barely used apps in the background simply closed. When new calls, eg from the view of recently used apps (Task Manager but it is not really) out, then it takes back a moment and the pages in Chrome must be only recharged until everything appears on the display. The course uses additional traffic. Candidates who definitely are not active simultaneously: Chrome, Google Play Music, YouTube, BubbleUpnP ... + Games course. Well the whole thing under Settings / Apps / active / active processes in the cache or services can be observed. So that under the right HW button has nothing to do with ACTIVE, which is only one type course. There on the net already some posts under eg "Moto G2 kills Apps"
That is unacceptable to me and I just hope that Motorola improved with the long-awaited update that otherwise the Moto G2 back.
Have fun with your device!
