After scanning this album I noticed just such numbers in "Happy Little Boozer" and "Väkirauta" which really come off as nothing. Could be the Ultra Find cool party fun this album finally how it could make quite Korpiklaani? But as early as next piece there the answer: "Midsummer Night" occurs again a little on the brakes. Overall, I find "Tales Along This Road" to a whole corner stronger than its predecessor, for the fifth star but I still do not have the numbers that make the album throughout an unforgettable Humppa-listening experience, so you the CD and no less than times could hang up at a party and may long forty-five minutes to celebrate just once. It is precisely this kind of music do Korpiklaani actually.
On this album the quieter pieces are already much better than it was on "Voice Of Wilderness" and the rock numbers that there would be "Happy Little Boozer", "Väkirauta", "Rise" and "Kirki" go more from than on the predecessor and always with this distinctive folk feeling in the background. But above all, "Tuli Kokko" ranked fourth simply disturbs this very cool party atmosphere and belongs to me more in-circuit region (it is by no means a bad song). "Spring Dance" is fortunately the only instrumental piece, but does the album also good since it first leaves are blowing fresh air to the calm "Tuli Kokko". The quieter pieces "Under The Sun" and "Korpiklaani" rock and tidy and bring the listener rather than in Mitgröhl- in a celebratory mood. "Hide Your Richness" is again a beautiful song to completion.
Overall I am very satisfied with this album already and "Tales Along This Road" is also a lot better than "Voice Of Wilderness". Especially is positive that even the quieter pieces rock more than anything on the predecessor. The use of Finnish lyrics comes the album Good. For the maximum number of points to me but still lacks that certain something that makes me consistently in a celebratory mood when I hear the album and so I give for this great album first only 4 stars and hope the next album finally the firecrackers is to the Korpiklaani actually are capable of.
