I am excited about the device. Have in the meantime already the most diverse print server installed and I have to say that this is the smallest and best of them. For the configuration, no cable is required. Simply the IP address to the address described in the instructions set and connect to the wireless network, the device (it is connected via peer-to-peer). Then enter in the browser the IP address of the device from the instructions, parameterized everything, save and restart.
I use the print server with different systems (Mac OSX Snow Leopard and CrunchBang Linux). On both systems without problems!
Pro:
- Small
- Works seamlessly with Mac OSX and Linux
- Low !!
Negatives:
- For beginners probably not easy to parameterize.
As letzes can briefly as a reset to the device to be made, as this is not described in the instructions.
RESET the unit: (was necessary for me, as I had mistyped :-).)
- Disconnect from the power.
- Press reset button and hold.
- Plug unit back and reset button and hold for 15-20 seconds..
- After the machine is again virgin
