Initially I was a bit skeptical about the safety of the material, but was pleasantly surprised when I held the product in his hands. It makes a heavy and very stable impression. I have the screws with longer and thicker screws replaced (5x30) and then the Key Garage at an inconspicuous place mounted on the premises of an external wall. This part sits with the screws bombproof on the wall and the effort the Key Garage knock off with a hammer would be considerable.
My two points that would point to this product are as follows:
1. I'm not sure how levers attempts would go out with a larger and more stable screwdriver. A starting point for a small pry bar or a screwdriver would be up there on the flap. The material itself appears very stable, but ultimately of course the closing mechanism, the weakest link in the chain. This, in turn, looks relatively simple and not very sturdy. I have not tested it, but my guess is that the Key Garage can pry with some skill and effort.
2. On the second point I would like to say may change little ABUS admittedly. I was part of my insurance on request stated that the camps of a key (whether car keys, house keys or office keys) will result in this Key Garage with most insurance policies to adhesion problems, should something happen. In particular, because the product does not have VdS approval. In plain English: If you stolen someone keys from the Key garage and your home or office empty admits it may happen that the insurance refuses the settlement of claims. Therefore, I would previously inquire in any case with the insurance company.
That did not directly have anything to do with the Key Garage, but depending on the intended use, you should consider, if necessary, the front of a purchase.
Overall, I would want to give the product 3 *.
