I own the Treksor-plate (in the 500GB version) now already for a year and am still very satisfied with the device. The use of the plate is limited at me occasional backup and the occasional play music and movies. There are no compatibility problems with other operating systems (WinXP, WinVista, MacOS). During operation, the hard disk is very quiet and the rubber feet hardly vibrations are transmitted to the table top. Also it is little more than lukewarm. The transfer rates are for a USB 2.0 - to view device than average. Unfortunately there is a small defect in the device design to complain: The USB plug is very loose in the connector of the board and it can by awkward moving the cable come to being disconnected from the computer. But as you walk around usually plays during operation not on the USB cable, but there's a perfect score.
Tip: If you want to take the hard drive somewhere, best transported in their original packaging. Since she has already survived intact a bad fall with me.
