Iron Man 2 (Audio CD)

Customer Review

From this soundtrack I was bitterly disappointed. I am fully unclear why it has not committed again Ramin Djawadi, rather than John Debney. First Debney is not a too known film music composer, but who remembers his SeaQuest-main theme 17 years ago, who could expect a similarly successful Debney main theme in Iron Man 2 succeeds after all. But very far from it. The dashing and very versatile soundtrack Djawadi can range in any way the water Debneys work. Debney tried audible effort to Hans-room school from the host of modern film music composers hail (including Djawadi, Steve Jablonsky, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell), to tie, but it did not succeed even a single issue properly to meet. A main theme is virtually not discernible when he sets action, everything is a single loud musical mishmash without accents, highs or lows. Its quieter subjects are boring and uninteresting musically. There is no single piece of film music in Iron Man 2, which protrudes somewhat. Although the theme Iwan tries to escape the same old places, but it is used far too short and far too seldom. In addition, it is also just a hackneyed version of the Russian men's choir theme used in film music since the 60's. You can tell and hear clearly that Debney is mainly active in the TV series section. Although he set to music the film with his music, but creates nothing that could exist independently of the moving images. Since one can only hope that the next Iron Man is again obliged Ramin Djawadi or at least a comparable talented composer.
