The old telephone of my parents was already getting on in years, the display was small, difficult to read, the key labeling was also hard to read, already worn out the buttons, in short, it had to be something new. Having eaten in almost four years have a Panasonic DECT phone and so am happy I remembered the decision for a new phone not difficult, after reading the reviews here.
Scope of supply:
It's all going to get going directly to: two hand parts including base station / charger, four rechargeable batteries (NiMh 550 mAh), telephone cables, power supplies and guidance.
Unpacking / installation and function:
This is all quite fast, just put the battery, plug in the base station, place the second handset to the cradle at the desired location, (almost) finished. The batteries are indeed summoned something, but the handsets overnight should be charged for several hours. You have to set the time and date, which is easily achieved on the white-lit and large screen of course. Now you can already make calls or receive calls.
It has again the choice of auto answer, the phone out of the station the call is lifted believed very practical. The phones are generally without LED and unlit when they stand in the station, when an incoming call then goes to the yellow keypad illumination. The selectable ringtones of handsets and the station are OK, nothing earth-shattering, but bearable. The volume is high enough selectable.
If you miss a call, the course displayed if the number is transmitted. Then you can see not only those in the caller list, but also the date and time.
Numbers are just in the phone book (up to 120 entries) stored. A distinction (allocation of other ringtones for specific numbers) I have not found it. Numbers that are stored in one of the handsets are automatically reflected in the other present, you have nothing to copy separately.
The speakerphone is working properly, you can also mute the caller, if you want to ask something that the caller is not heard.
The range of handsets is good, from the basement to the attic (concrete ceilings) telephoning works well. The range of the battery is good when it is full you could call up to 15 hours without having to recharge the battery must (the good standby time, I can also confirm, in my phone I turn the charger off when the battery is full and the phone keeps a good five days by).
The answering machine can be (not like the old phone to my parents) used at the base station and the handsets (switching on and off, listen to messages, record your text, etc.). That's incredibly convenient because you do not have to pay extra to go to the station.
The Panasonic KX-TG6822GS menu is largely self-explanatory, with the D-pad the "main job" takes over: caller list, redial, phone book.
The display is large enough and easy to read, the buttons. The handsets are good in the hand when there is no more clip to the handset on your belt or something else to fix.
Conclusion:
When Panasonic KX-TG6822GS can not do much wrong, the call quality and service are top. In addition, you can buy and login to another handset, if necessary. From my side there are five stars, my parents are also happy and do not want to miss the Panasonic (I do not, even for younger people there is no reason why you can not even slightly larger and well-controlled equipment purchases).
