No Faulty battery detection

In my Hähnel Twin V Pro creaked no hinge, the housing is easy and the stakes for the BP-511 and LP-E8 can be easily inserted into the device. To me, the processing makes a good impression and the operating concept seems to be thought through.

Everything was great so were it not for the unusable battery gauge:

An original Canon BP-511 Battery of the 5D I, which is already two years old and a bit weak, the unit will charge until the indicator shows 100%. If you put the battery into the camera after that, this indicates that it is almost empty and rises a short time later from.

The same game in a brand new no-name battery LP-E8 (ASIN B003TO9GU4). The Hahnel indicates 100% charge, the Canon 5D MK II 50%. After 10 minutes, standby in the camera power is off.

From a German manufacturer, I had expected a little more, especially at this price.
