Shades of Earth: An Across the Universe Novel (Hardcover)

Customer Review

Finally, the shuttle leaves the Godspeed and sets off on the journey into an unknown world. Amy, Elder and some volunteers have moved in on the shuttle mission Centrauri-Earth and quickly find themselves with the advantages and disadvantages of rapid upheaval faced.
The author succeeds once more to bind the reader to the protagonist and advancing them down from orbit to the New World. In detailed descriptions, times again from alternate view of Amy and Elder, one comes very quickly in the book. One begins to wonder if the monsters are really worth to be feared and that the beautiful planet can be at home.
The events surrounding the new colony give downright the jack in hand, so that the relationship between Amy and Elder (a bit unfortunately) reengaged into the background. Exciting it is all so that we no longer know whom to trust soon and who better not.
The end of the trilogy is mostly well done, but that it always remains exciting and the protagonists have lost none of their sympathy. On the contrary, the steady development has even been fun to experience with. One star deduction there is that the events are too much roll over at the end and only partially touched upon. Maybe a few more pages would have created this situation !?

Conclusion: Be sure to read, because there is no Vorhersehbarkeiten.
