"Diary of a wimpy kid" is the story of a schoolboy who tells his life, his school, his family and his "friends". Everything "newspaper" is decorated with simple designs but fun as hell. The tone is rather to humor and it works well! Written big enough, it reads quickly. If it is intended for an audience young enough, "Diary of a wimpy kid" is one of his books that are read by all ages with much pleasure. It is even surprising that the book is so nice with a main character as unpleasant in the end! As for the level of English: if the syntax is fairly simple and short sentences, the book takes a lot of vocabulary. To read from a good level of the third or high school level.
