While it fits in, if only just. When pulling out the remains magnetic hinge of Smart Covers, or volume controls will always depend on the Umnaht up inside. Also, the metal zipper inside pocket would always rub the pad and scratch it so gradually. One gets out the iPad itself otherwise almost nothing in the bag (perhaps a few handkerchiefs, nothing more). Were they about 3 cm wide and 1 cm deep, but it would be perfect.
=== === A4 version
The A4 variant the bag had also ordered. But this is clearly too big and too deep to me. Here the iPad2 fits loosely cross and then lies deep below the ground. In addition, at the A4 pocket the carriers are mounted on the back instead of on the side, which is why the bag looks a little funny when worn.
=== === Processing and other
Both bags protect only limited when it rains, because between the lid and body still quite a large gap remains open. The workmanship and quality of the bags is otherwise for the price but very good.
However, the leather (first?) Rubs off very strong. The paper label on the bag is completely smeared with brown, oily stains.
Nevertheless, I regret to both send back and forth to keep matching what the iPad out.
