I myself had long been toying with the idea, zuzulegen a hair trimmer for my single household - the Philips QC5770 / 80 met my expectations entirely.
Since then, I save about 20 / month for the hairdresser as well as the students often significant time factor 'in 10min to reach again my usual short hair, and thanks to the 3D contour following comb / attachable thinning comb without the' cut itself '- style ,
The LED multifunction display, which displays the current length setting [mm] of the average size and the battery status, the unit plays together with the ergonomic design in stainless steel finish on the sides and the storage case clearly some high-quality impression.
In the application, in my opinion, especially the rotary cutting head is particularly positive to bear, through which the cutting of the 'sensitive parts' as the neck is made considerably easier. Because here, the cutting head dynamically adapts to the position of the device on the head.
Thanks to the lithium-ion battery the runtime is no longer a problem, otherwise the device can however fortunately also easy with the supplied charging cable simultaneously with electricity (no previous battery charging required!).
Conclusion: Due to the above factors, the Philips in my opinion sets QC5770 / 80 clear of similar products from - even if it is not necessarily a super bargain. How this is to be weighted, finally remains entirely up.
