This part is a self-contained story. So it's not absolutely necessary to know the first four parts. But recommended, because you otherwise missed a spectacular history and learns already know a lot of characters.
The presentation of this result in the form of the book is already the 7th part of the Mark Brandis series, Part 5 and 6 were skipped, but so much can be revealed: Part 5 (advance to Uranus) is prepared both inside the radio play and at the end announced.
Many fans already know, of course, the story, which was implemented absolutely fascinating and technically perfect in this part. Without wanting to reveal anything about it, it is not as epic as the previous advance. Nevertheless, it is very well told and against the book presentation inconsistencies were ironed out and incorporated a lot of interesting and exciting details. The cameras can use the "shallower" story not comfort 100% of time, exciting and entertaining, but it is telling nonetheless. This time is not so much space, but the everyday life of test pilots is illuminated. All seasoned with a exciting thriller story. You can learn the character "Mark Brandis" better than ever know.
Interplanar showed in this part once again how much potential in them and how to produce a perfect radio play experience. Cinema for the ears and in my opinion, again better than the previous version. Interplanar already sets the bar again a number higher)
Besides superb sound quality, sharp sound effects there are the many details that make the Mark Brandis series of interplanar production so special and worth every penny.
More from the template was in my opinion not to get out.
A good, if a little shallower story in an engaging and superbly produced radio play packed.
In addition to many new and as an audio book fan also known immediately voices (including Detlef Bierstedt) the votes recycling is limited to a minimum of supporting characters.
All in all a buy recommendation for those who like science fiction in our universe and in this episode was a good dose of "Thriller" incorporated.
