I compared it with my Nikon 28-70 2.8 Zoom and could see no difference in the image quality, but now have a spare lens with image stabilizer! Perhaps the Nikon is the replacement device ;-) The zoom ring is running somewhat sluggish, but there is quite a bit, even the Geli fits very tightly - but at least not shaky. The AF is running after a short delay to, even when the VC, but you have only your finger on the trigger, there is no more delays and he works fast and is as accurate as that of my Nikon. The build quality, I can not judge, but I feel very well cared for by the 5-year warranty. Weight and size are not an issue for me - the main thing is a good lens. I would buy me back
