The Scorpio Black works with me in a Macbook Pro 15 Early 2011. WD is noticeably faster than the previously built Hitachi, but that was to be expected. Unfortunately, the WD is actually much louder than the Hitachi previously. This was also to be expected after the various statements in test reports and the comments of users in relevant computer forums. Therefore, I can the statements of some other reviewers here do not keep track of which designate the plate as quietly. The WD is building a noise similar to another fan in the Macbook on, but a constantly audible fan. If you own a notebook anyway Louder what rushes resistant and ventilated as my last Acer or Dell on my work, the Scorpio Black will not attract attention. However, in a quiet notebook like the Macbook Pro 15 Early 2011, she falls on directly, because much of the work on the notebook will not be constantly revving the actual fan which then are louder than the Scorpio Black.
The WD Scorpio Black 750GB provides outstanding performance with additional sound effects are available. If you like it really quiet should not buy this record and rather resort to a Scorpio Blue. Who wants to have the extra speed just needs to live with the noise. I keep them.
