Seth MacFarlane is a singer, the one I think can safely be described as the Dean Martin of the 21st century. Of course, soulful and with overtones, on each opera singer would be happy. He is accompanied by an orchestra, which converts the sound of the 50's almost perfect, technically brilliant, musically simply outstanding. Of particular note is there is certainly the drummer on drumset. Just right. At least as important, and fortunately also at least as good are the arrangements by Joel McNeely. Full-color, funny and in some horn passages almost a little R. Strauss. Moreover, the CD is professionally recorded and produced. Finally vocals and instruments were in the old tradition also resumed at the same time, only Norah Jones has been added by overdubbing. This, however, one feels, unfortunately, but disturbs the overall impression is not much. Absolute favorite is my part "Laura". A beautiful song, fantastically arranged and played incredibly emotional. One can only hope that Universal continues to provide ways and means for such wonderful, unfortunately, has become rare in comparable standards and quality projects. An asset to any CD collection and for every night with a good wine.
