First of all: Man (n) must be first to the "other" operation using a circular motion and also a different pressure on the shaver used. The battery lasts a long time, in fact, the device can be cleaned without any problems. Here the waterproof processing is an advantage. The Philips-typical folding mechanism between the three blades, I feel just the chin as very pleasant, here the equipment is also better than the wet-shaving. For me, this device has according to the experience but also clear disadvantages: A "dry shave" with the device at least in my skin barely possible either, the device can at sufficient pressure to move to grasp the hair hardly pleasant on the skin or the hair is not sufficiently covered with light pressure. At least for me, the problem with wet skin (just water) not on, usually I use the device either on wet skin or with classic shaving cream. My impression is the unit with shaving cream glides not only much more pleasant, it also shaved more thoroughly.
In addition, the hair closely cropped hair root when compared to wet shave significantly less. With the razor I typically only until the next morning noticeable stubble, with this device which is already noticeable in the early afternoon of the case. Obviously, the razor pulls the hair before cutting it further from the skin - that's at least my statement.
Conclusion for me: good value for money, well-made device with little weaknesses, I'll probably stay a both-as-well-shaver.
