Story:
From the very beginning was very quickly realized what really is going on and how to develop the next few hours. Too bad, because from then the story would have been really exciting. Nevertheless, the story has been well implemented.
Graphics:
The representation of the environment, characters, scenes and also the (partially rough and unrealistically exaggerated) violence is really bombastic. It comes as barely get out of amazement.
Sound:
The ambient sound ... the war cries in the background ... the clash of arms and the powerful explosions ... As in a good modern cinema. It is placed a lot of emphasis on the sound.
Control:
One moves and presses the flashing on-screen colors. Always switch back once the Finisher skills. The normal combat deposits and "evasive maneuvers" are not really "demanding" ... It attracts the game time more than artificially lengthened. Unfortunately, that's it.
Game:
The graph suggests a monumental film back. The sounds accompany the whole thing. Yes you get the feeling, you're sitting in the cinema and watch a really good movie. But the end was almost completely betrayed the beginning. One would have the character not move yet and press the on-screen colors on the controller, it would also become a good movie. Unfortunately Ryse is playing pretty much the worst game that I bought for the new consoles ... If you have the first couple of fights behind him, you know just about all fights. It is always the same. Even sticking to the PS4 offers far more variety in combat.
Tactics there is not really. And most of the time just watch the opponent while beating with 3 other: / Because I had with Assassin's Creed 3 more interesting fights and even gawk only.
Conclusion:
+ Bombastic graphics
+ Very nice sound
- Little innovative musical background
+ Story itself very interesting if ...
- ... Would not already be clear from the outset how the end will be approximately
- Control is very monotonous
- Fighting and "obstacles" are repeated from start to finish in an endless loop. Always the same ...
- Game time falls from low, than any other current Next Gen Game
- Replayability not really exist
+ Even if the fights are lame for the player. It seems nevertheless always funny from when applying finish moves. So always. Even if the 50th time a thick bearded attacker with shield (At that time there were many clones) arm tees off ... It's always fun to look at with :)
Ryse is not bad ... But it has not really something. It has nevertheless entertain me until the end, because I wanted to "see" until the end. It was really fun, easy to disassemble all opponents. Would almost say it played like a Hack'n'Slay ... But to the thread is too tense and the opponents too tired (?) To all attack at once.
I would not sell it anyway. Because if I once again packed the rappel, but it may amuse for a few hours.
So why but 4 stars? Because it was clear from the outset that Ryse is so. It has been for months debated in forums and the result is precisely that. Therefore, it has probably met expectations. And it's a launch title. Although the shortest Launch Game with of the two consoles, but with an enormous visual and acoustic impact. It shows that what one can and to ensure far more can. Perhaps (and I hope) still comes much content as well as some changes to the game itself, because so far it looks just like a graphic demonstration.
