Have been looking forward huge, as I heard that my favorite band "Bon Jovi" has a new album at the start. Finally replenishment after the guys I finally was able to experience them live on the "Lost Highway" tour. Definitely one of the Erlebnise my life, what my enthusiasm has even more increased. But back to this album: While I was in my favorites else was guided by radio, I got me this time even formed an opinion and listened to the new album in the daily round trip to work. And what should I say? The chaff is separated from the wheat. The up and down the radio played "We were not born to follow" is certainly not a bad song, but by far not the best on the new disc. So my biggest favorites "When We Were Beautiful" are (unusually quiet, yet it moves with the times into the ear) (both absolutely awesome!), "Superman Tonight", "Happy Now" and "Learn to Love". The other songs are partly also quite good, but I still lack that little bit extra to the absolute favorites. Had since read belongings at that Bon Jovi has since "These Days" brought nothing great more: Another thing to other reviews. Is certainly an opinion and I do not intend to convert someone. But at the same time you can created by certain high expectations by past experiences make the musical life also unnecessarily difficult, and missed by many ingenious song of the present, one has direct line of vision. Went with my many Bon Jovi album already like that. I myself was very skeptical when I heard about "Lost Highway", but the mix of country and rock liked better than I thought in the end. One only has to enter into. The very great because it was something different. A band must also develop over many years so next time and try something new. Young bands can not afford something like that usually. But the boys of Bon Jovi have also become much older, richer and quiet (so a little stop), so they can afford the already so since "These Days". In conclusion, I would advise, in the new album definitely a listen time (at least maybe in the above items). I, however, am looking forward to the next Bon Jovi live DVD "Live at the Madison Square Garden" incl. The song "Hallelujah", which is probably sung by none with as much feeling as is the case with Jon Bon Jovi ,
