The display may be grobpixlig for some, but I am rather low-budget phones usual (before had the E1107) and since the resolution seems a very well. For phone calls, send texts, possibly read an email that reaches also perfect. More brings nothing but more power consumption. Colors etc. are as usual in order.
Voice quality. A very important point, especially for mobile phones that not much else can. The E1107 or the M150 by Samsung, which I had previously, were abysmal in the relationship. Even my old Nokia's and Siemens' were miles better. But not here, refers to his opponent clearly, and also does not need a full volume when you are staying there. Very pleasant!
Among the SMS there is not much to say, the tap itself quasi as well as on all other reasonably new Samsung phones. Unfamiliar to Nokianer, but why not bad.
The Bluetooth feature comes in handy with the new Samsung software contacts, SMS etc. are ruckzuck synchronized. With other software but so far not klappts .. Especially not on Linux) The mobile phone also has the ability to offer the hands-free rSAP. And just as you can disable it, depending on your preference. That's great!
For camera can not say much: If that is bright, the images are useful, but only VGA. For that I have not bought the thing anyway. Filmed I have not at first, with 160 * 120 resolution, or what it was you need not to be expected.

So now the main advertising point of mobile phones: The large battery! He's big ... really! And hides the SIM card and the microSD card itself. I could still make him a bar in dispute, not even after one day and one hour duration Bluetooth calls. Long-term test follows;)

But my idea of a mobile phone is that it needs to be sturdy, good keyboard, good voice quality and long battery life. That's what you herewith and additionally Java, Bluetooth, flashlight and ne camera.
If someone rather smart phones or whatever is usual .. -> Stay away!

Command back! Only the e-mail wizard does not give all the possibilities before, because in the settings you will find this. Accounts to which you can only access with SSL or TLS, are therefore available without restriction to time need be traveling to read / write emails! Great!

I've bought today also a memory card. I took the first available 2GB microSD card from Kingston and was recognized immediately. Now at last is some space on your phone :-)

After the so wonderful works with the memory, again a little sobering: it can be set up unfortunately only 2 e-mail accounts. More is not .. Since I use usually 3-4 email accounts simultaneously for different purposes, that's quite a limitation. Well still better than nothing and many people should be fine.

The unit has been nearly 2 weeks in continuous operation and was only 30min loaded long before the first use. After that no more. Have since about 12 hours Bluetooth had in operation, a lot of data back and hergescheffelt, about 120 pictures made (but makes fun: D), about 1 hour in total Phone conversations, written 50 SMS and a lot of messing around it and rumgestellt.. The battery indicator has since lost a bar. If this keeps up, are with moderate use actually more than four weeks feasible. If that happens, there's a new Supplement.

I have now, recharged after about 4 weeks duration, the first time the battery 2 hours although still 2 bars were there. It's really a gigantic battery life!

Now that I have the device longer in operation, there is now even an update to the battery life: If one day several short messages writes and phoned a few minutes, loosely 4 weeks feasible. In a little less use also loose six weeks in there. Strong buy recommendation for anyone who wants to have a reliable phone.

Since my phone use has become a little less intense, again for battery life (my favorite point of the device): I can remember when I have the device last loaded me hardly. It's been getting more than 4 weeks. Trend really strong at 8 weeks, so much more than any previous mobile phones I've owned.
For IMAP: it actually does not support folder (or I'm doing something wrong), but you can select, for example, whether only unread, new or all mail to be loaded. The slowness of GPRS usually compels one to the former.
Reception is usually better or equivalent, compared to other phones in the same location. Exception was an old Nokia phone :-)
The purpose of the memory card has me but not yet opened. Many photos makes you automatically not because almost always futile. Videos? Useless. Music? In 2GB fits almost nothing .. For "emergencies" maybe useful. Hm. I do not know. I have the memory card in the phone and there it is flat. Multipurpose not fulfilled just.
"Large" Java applications run eh not (and if so, slowly). From paranoid reasons and lack of purpose, I use those eh no .. My mobile phone is still rather stay clean.
The now I tested Samsung Internet browser (Opera Mini would not prompt run) thanks GPRS very slow, but usable for emergencies .. But not for more.
Still my conclusion: without a camera and with better IMAP support it would have been the cell phone, which is perfectly tailored to my needs! Because of Maluse, but lack of an alternative, it is currently the best phone for my needs.
