A title that is breathtaking ... and damn well constructed story. This second volume of The Saga of the Seven Stars is darker than the last. It is full of twists and turns, and the least we can say is that we have no time to get bored! The chapters are short, and all end with more or less important cliff-hangers. The story is well written, the characters are deep. I think it's a beautiful space-opera, pleasant, and I begin to realize the magnitude of the events of the story. I think Kevin J. Anderson embarked on an ambitious project. Indeed, some wars between powerful alien forces appear to date back to the dawn of time, as The Saga of Seven Suns entrusts us ... And the human being, it is there in the middle, both victim and bystander helplessly ...
