The reception performance was satisfactory in my case. Only at the upper end of the UHF band reception performance plummeted. Perhaps this is due to the GSM filter (UHF goes to 860 MHz, D-network GSM is about 900 MHz).
What was not at all satisfactory, is the fact that the power supply is fed directly to the antenna. The antenna should be as far away as possible from sources of interference - as they are for example also TV - set. And who's got a socket already in the farthest corner of the room to the closet. Although would also feed from a remote receiver / TV into consideration. These are but a rule - if any - only at 5 volts. However, the antenna must be operated with 12 volts! Since the manufacturer has not thought through. Other manufacturers feed the power directly into the antenna line, which then if necessary can be positioned on the TV. Especially with the "outdoor antenna" declared models this is (necessarily) the rule.
Positive on the part is adjustable in several stages gain; Finally, this could also be too high, overdriving the amplifier means, which reduces the quality of the signal.
