The biggest shortcoming: The display

+ Connectors on the rear leave nothing to be desired
+ Sufficiently large 6.2 'display (7' would have been optimal)
+ Apple CarPlay (but my previous experience is not that great either as intended)
+ One of the best display layout when playing music from your iPhone or USB flash drive, or listening to the radio
+ Good menu
+ Easy to install (if you know what to emulate)
+ Sufficient scope for individualization (keyword 'backlight' & Co.)
+ Good sound

-The Launch of the radio takes a little longer
-When Active Apple CarPlay you can hear through the speakers constantly the transmission signals of the phone
-The 'Video Wallpaper' do not run perfectly but are rather a very good ongoing GIF animation (liquid is different)
-Greater Hard drives have a few minutes charging time (in my opinion, too much of a good thing). It is therefore better n 32GB USB Stick
-My 32GB USB Flash Drive (Sandisk Cruzer) is not recognized under no matter what format 'so a new must be found
-Without 3G reception (which in my 'backwater' unfortunately the case) are the CarPlay functions rather for the feet 'so you need a good data connection
-The Radio are almost permanently a high-frequency beeps from (very quiet but noticeable) that only abates when setting the dimmer in mind. +44 From +48 maximum. Thus, the display will however unnaturally bright.
-The Unit is clearly leaking because accumulate over time dust grains behind the display

The biggest shortcoming: The display illumination (see photos attached):
Already daytime fall already in rough draufschauen the overexposed edges. Almost the whole of the display is clearly brighter beams emerging that easy especially in the evenings and at night only look ugly. The display illumination is here simply not on the current state of the art, because that is clearly better. Clear, worse off still, but 'good' is different. But what can you expect for a purchase price of 380 ... Besides, I'm right the first clean the display a nice Mote discovered under the display, which do not interfere too scarce. Furthermore, the display is a real fingerprint magnet. Freshly cleaned and parked in the sun we see every single impression finely neatly, as if someone grad creamed with sun cream. One can already draw almost the images and with freshly washed hands. Real bad. The only solution to resign and daily tidy mitm microfiber cloth wipe over it.

All in all I can recommend this device definitely, but you should do beforehand on the smaller quirks smart.

ADDENDUM:
Did the device submitted directly to Pioneer with a request to:
1. Cleaning behind the display
2. Control of high-frequency noise in terms of the backlight
3. Control of backlight
4. Review of the 2nd USB Ports
5. sending a new "metal plate" for the GPS receiver because my old is already verknickt from looking

Result: clean display of goodwill (thanks, very generous), point 2-4 fully meet the technical guidelines of the company and point 5 has been completely ignored. The part costs also determines 25 cents. Conclusion: In the Service and the subterranean standards I will certainly not buy more car radio from Pioneer. Point.
