Leading the way to my review:
Processing and handling 1.Stern
Readiness after switching 2.Stern
Menus 3.Stern
And the image quality 4.Stern
Even if the camera makes a lot of joy (the handling, the fantastic viewfinder ......)
unfortunately can not be denied that the so advertised "High Speed-Focus"
(In certain situations) is simply unusable.
I'm saying:
The autofocus speed has stolen the 5th star!
I do not want to write about technical details of the camera, because there are already enough to read, but rather about "my" practical experience with the Fuji X100S.
I shoot at my house with a Nikon D700, until recently, I had to go nor the Sony A7 I have but now, even if it was an excellent camera, sold and Fuji have risen.
The reason was quite simple, the compactness. I have considered every time .... which lenses I take ..... and so it happened many times before, I had 3 to 4 lenses here again ...... and I was tired.
The Fuji has therefore now a permanently installed fixed focal length is, for the shot: Towards the subject or away from the subject.
So I imagine pure photographed in front on the street, the silent mode still does the rest. All issued notes and the shutter sound on and off nobody notices photographed.
The really unique (sometimes) annoying at the Fuji is the autofocus in low light, but you get used to it and then focused possibly (peaking pixel / Focus) with very good usable, manual focus.
The Fuji truly delivers superior image quality to the high ISOs and it will make me happy for a long time.
If you know what you want and what you're getting, then it might also make you happy;)
In this sense
