First of all the functions:
- Trip
- Travel time
- Average speed
- Max. Speed
- Current speed
- Time
- Total kilometers
- Total travel time
- Current altitude
- Perfect day
- Max. Height
- Temperature
- Total height
The last five features distinguish it to the smaller and much cheaper model.
These additional functions but I have really missed in the small model on the trip. On the one hand the level meters are very helpful and useful when it clearly uphill ascents and you always get little motivation relapses, when you see how little by little eats the altitude. Also at the end of the day driving can be very good to compare the already past days. On the other hand, however, the altitude readings are not very accurate. They are measured on the air pressure and when a storm starts to roll and the air pressure is dropping and the altitude reading readjust. Since then helps but a GPS. We have the cycling computer on the trip every day readjusted via the GPS from mobile phone, which led to satisfactory results. Even in comparison to the information on the phone. The inaccuracy is less here in the values changing while driving, but rather the actual amount.
Furthermore, the light at evening rides is very convenient. It is switched on via the simultaneous press of the upper and lower left buttons. The lights go on in the case, whenever you press another button and then stays on for a few seconds. Very convenient and energy saving.
The temperature display functions so far also good, but the speedometer when the sun is usually always thus to enjoy the sun and the information wisely.
The speedometer has come several times in rain showers in our cycling trip and has stayed out on the bike in the fog and will continue to function properly, as I was assured by my travel companion.
Conclusion:
Ultimately, the extra Euros worth for the elevations. Of course, it is not comparable with GPS-controlled bike computers, you get but not in this price range. Who is thus aware of the restrictions, should get this one for sure!
