Okay - "When The Eagle Cries" is corny and "The Star sprangeld banner" We do not want to talk first. BUT: the rest is invariably brilliant - especially the 3 "Gettysburg 1863" pieces are simply divine. A notable example is "high water mark" over "Pickett's Charge" on the 3rd day of the battle, and USER (as the other two pieces also) Sounds (artillery, muskets, etc.) from the ingenious (and long) Gettysburg film of 1993 and follows in his orchestral elements partly the (also really brilliant) pieces "over the fence" and "march to mortality" by Randy nobleman soundtrack of the film gennaten above. Also very good "Attila" over the Hun, "Waterloo" (NO is NO abba cover!) And "Red Baron - Blue Max" about Manfred von Richthofen. One may already have noticed from the comments, I am an amateur historian and as such, as well as a Power Metal fan I am of course particularly (and this is actually the best thing about the album) on the change of topic. Finally dragons NO, elves, Tolkien characters or elde Knight & lovely maiden or other fantasy and gothic elements, because all times honest - so slow it annoying one, right? -Absolutely recommendable
